Consultations and AGMs
The UPA is a democratic organization. That means its strategic directions are set by the producers who make up its membership. Read on to find out how we gather your opinions.
AGMs
Syndicate-level annual general meetings (AGMs) are the front lines of the consultation process. At AGMs, requests from members like you may be formulated as resolutions. Resolutions are sent to different parts of the organization to be handled by the authorities best placed to do so.
Attending AGMs
AGMs include discussions where you can share your point of view along with the other attendees. You can also help elect the producers who will serve as your representatives.
Other activities and events
Various information and consultation activities are organized throughout the year. For all the latest on AGMs and events, be sure to subscribe to the newsletters for your regional federation and your specialization.

Which part of the organization do I talk to?
Your local syndicate is your first port of call for general issues (e.g., municipal regulations, environment, relations with neighbours, etc.). Your specialized syndicate is the go-to place for situations pertaining to your specific production type.
